"Phoenix Nebula"
A starship cruises through a colossal, multi-coloured gas nebula.
This painting was a given as a gift to some great friends of mine who's son is fascinated by all things to do with space and spaceships. It's not something I would normally do but I have to admit that creating such a wild and colourful image was great fun. The nebula is based, of course, on the stunning photographs taken by the Hubble space telescope.
