"Soldier
A soldier from the far future lumbers across a desolate battlefield
This painting was a gift for my nephew who plays table-top war games with figures that he assembles and paints himself.
This painting represents one of these figures - a rather menacing chap with a bizarre mixture of weaponry that seems to be a cross between ancient rome and a Star Wars trooper. I used a very loose style for this, with an emphasis on mood and atmosphere rather than technical accuracy!
